Hue Exhibition

In April I collaborated with a team of level 6 photographers to put on an exhibition.

Initially my participation was just to create design work for the exhibition in promotional material and branding etc., but then I began to get more involved in the setting up of the exhibition and paid towards it too.

As the exhibition was put on as part of the girls PPP module the theme of the exhibition was left to them. They wanted to create an inclusive exhibition on the theme of primary colours, hence the name 'hue'. I created a logo and advertisements for the exhibition based on the girls preferences, as I was treating them as clients.

The actual exhibition went ahead at LS6, in the end we had over 30 artists submitting from Leeds, Scotland and even Spain and Canada which was amazing. There were 85+ pieces of work shown in the exhibition and it was great to see the fruits of our labours coming together.

The experience was great, getting to host an exhibition of our own and work with some people I hadn't known before. The evening was lovely and it was great to see work from people on my course exhibited alongside other artists.
